Rereading this book as a BR with Sara and Jo! Preparing myself for the epicness that is Thief!Olivia Kaspen runs into her ex boyfriend at a music store and finds out her ex Caleb has amnesia and can't remember anything about her or their twisted relationship. Olivia and Caleb's relationship ended very badly...Caleb: "You will remember every day for the rest of your life because I was the one and you threw me away."Olivia has never gotten over him so instead of being honest and explaining that she is his ex girlfriend and reminding Caleb that he hates her for terrible things she did in the past; she acts like a stranger and pretends the encounter in the music shop is their first meeting. During the course of this book, Caleb and Olivia become close again even though Olivia knows their time is limited because Caleb's memory is expected to return. This book also shows you scenes from their past so you understand what happened during their first relationship and why they broke up.*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Olivia really frustrated me during parts the book. She was selfish and made some really horrible decisions that hurt a lot of people. What she did to Jessica and Caleb was beyond awful :( But by the end of the book, I felt like she matured and was starting to see that she needed to stop lying and stop hurting the people she cares about.Olivia: "I have finally accepted that there are consequences to every action. I earned them and they are rightfully mine. There is no time to make bad decisions. Every step is precious. The definition of living is mine." I really loved Caleb's character! He was persistent in his pursuit of Olivia, he defended her against his own mother, didn't let money or other people rule his life, and you could just tell he loved Olivia.. a lot. Caleb is human, however, and makes some pretty hurtful decisions as well. I was so disappointed with him when Olivia walked in on him with that woman in his office! I really hope he wasn't cheating on Olivia...I hate Leah! Always have, always will! She is a manipulative bitch!I am hoping for a Caleb and Olivia HEA. They have put each other through so much drama that I would love to just see them be happy together finally. I like Noah and all.. I just don't feel like Olivia and Noah have the spark that Caleb and Olivia have.
