My favorite of the Experiment in Terror books so far. 5 STUNNING STARS! This book takes Perry to Seattle, where she spends the week with Dex and his girlfriend Jennifer at their apartment. Dex and Perry plan to explore one of Seattle's mysterious mental institutions.I (like Perry) tried to give Jenn the benefit of the doubt but in this book you see that she is just an insecure, spiteful, and cold hearted bitch. There were several times during this book that I wanted to fight Jenn on Perry's behalf. Dex deserves so much more from his gf and I still can't believe he settled for a woman like her.. She acts like she doesn't even give a crap about him! Anyway (now that my rant is over)... In Lying Season, both Dex and Perry are trying to deal with demons from their past. Perry is reliving moments from her past in her dreams while a ghost from Dex's past is terrifying the both of them. This book is also a total game changer for Dex and Perry's relationship. They are both starting to acknowledge their feelings for one another but, at the same time, both are still trying to figure out how to trust one another with their deepest, darkest secrets. I am off to read On Demon Wings now because the cliffhanger at the end of this book had me ready to throw my Kindle and I need to know what happens next :)Memorable Quotes:Dex - "I want you to stay with me," he said.
